Death Request certificate of notification
Source: BUS Rheinland-PfalzIf you cannot be issued a death certificate after reporting a death due to missing data or proof, you can have the notification of death certified.
This certificate serves as proof that you have complied with your duty of notification.
You can use the certificate to prove that the death has been duly reported. The notification is a prerequisite for the burial of the deceased person.
You can apply for the certificate of notification and deferral of notarization verbally or in writing at the registry office.
- Submit the application for the certificate to the relevant registry office.
- The registry office will check your details and issue the certificate if necessary.
- The registry office will send you the certificate of registration by post if no personal collection has been agreed.
