Submit a declaration for non-commercial flight operations with technically complex aircraft (NCC) or for specialized flight operations (SPO)
Source: BUS Rheinland-PfalzIf you use technically complex aircraft (NCC) or wish to carry out specialized flight operations (SPO) without wanting to earn money with them, you must notify the Federal Aviation Office (LBA).
This is necessary because the LBA must fulfill its supervisory duties. In the declaration, you confirm that you are familiar with the regulations and have all the necessary permits.
You also list all your aircraft and special permits and declare that you have an operations manual and a management system and that you have drawn up a minimum equipment list (MEL) for each of your aircraft.
If there are any changes to your fleet, use or requirements, please inform the LBA of the change in a new declaration.
