Show use of the organic label

You can report the use of the organic seal online or in writing.

Display use online:

• Register your company and your product or products in the Bio-Siegel database at bio-siegel.de.
• The BLE will check your notification of use and you will receive notification by e-mail that your product or products have been approved for use of the Bio-Siegel.

Notification of use in writing:

• Request the notification form from the BLE or download it from the bio-siegel.de website.
• Send the completed and signed notification form together with the product label or labels bearing the organic seal to the BLE by post or e-mail.
• The BLE will check your notification and you will receive notification of the approval of your product or products for the use of the Bio-Siegel by e-mail or, if desired, by post.
• The BLE will create an account for you in the Bio-Siegel database, into which your advertised products will be transferred. You will receive access data to your account in the database by post so that you can manage your usage notifications yourself in future.

• As a certified company, you participate in the control system in accordance with EU legislation on organic farming.
• Your product is produced and certified in accordance with the provisions of EU legislation on organic farming.
• The organic seal on your product label(s) complies with the graphic requirements of the Organic Labeling Ordinance.

• Product label designed with the organic seal or designed product labels in PDF format up to a maximum of 10 MB per file (if there are several labels per product, e.g. front, back and side labels, please combine them in one PDF file).

If you are submitting the advertisement by e-mail or post, in addition

There are no costs.

The notification must be made before the product labeled with the organic seal is launched on the market.
